I've worked exclusively in pediatrics for the past 20 years in a therapy clinic, public schools and as an independent provider. I like to work with families and teams to help build upon each child's strengths. I believe that what a family can do with their child for a few minutes each day has a great impact on progress so I enjoy working with families to develop activities that can be realistically worked into their busy weeks. Some of the diagnoses I've had experience with include autism, Beckwith-Weideman, Brachial Plexus, Charge Syndrome, chromosomal disorders, cleft lip/palate, CMV, CP, Cri Du Chat, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, feeding disorders, myelomeningocele, PDD, prematurity, TBI, and various neurologic disorders. I've had training in feeding/oral motor issues, sensory integration, NDT and fine motor control. I attend courses to gain new information and ideas. I am available to talk or meet with you while you are choosing providers to work with your child.
